Instead of saying happy new year, I feel like saying: Holy fuck, we made it.

I know this last year has been terrible and some fandoms had their own nastiness to add to that. So to all the good people who are still here and creating:

Dear Creator Letter

Hello and welcome, creator! I look forward to whatever you create for me. 

I love stories, no matter how long or short. I'll be happy with anything romantic or sexual, any content rating too. You can find me on tumblr and AO3 as barbex, to see what I like.

I haven't asked for art before, but art just makes me happy in general. I like things in bold colors with a rough, messy look about it, or in comic style.

While I may include prompts for my requests, please don't feel beholden to them if something I've mentioned, or my likes list, inspires you in a different direction! 

 

With no further ado, I'll re-state my likes and DNWs before getting into fandom and pairing specifics.

Likes:

DNWs:

Dragon Age

I love mages. I don't care it the main protagonist is a mage but I don't want mage bashing in my fic. I want characters to at least learn to respect each other and like each other before smut happens. I don't have a preference regarding race but if you want to do something special with one of the lesser known races in Thedas, go for it. An Avvar AU might be interesting?

Original Work

I hope the pairings are inspiring, OW work is a new discovery for me and I'm open to pretty much anything. I especially like fics where characters have to overcome differences, which is probably reflected in the pairings I picked.
I love historical fiction with a twist, adding in some magic or steampunk is always a plus. For science fiction, I love stories with a touch of cyberpunk or noir. You can even mix science fiction and fantasy.

The Mummy

I would love for a story or art to reflect the fun atmosphere of the movies, the easy understanding between characters. I'm especially a fan of the whole respect-women-juice that all the men have regularly been drinking.
